The puppies sound adorable!

I like the idea of functional exercise, I think folks are more likely to stick with it. I think any opportunity to get exercise while doing something else is fantastic, whether it's going swimming, playing an active game in the yard with your family, renovating a space, baking bread from scratch, learning a dance from a YouTube video, recreating 19th century manual labor movements in your living room... whatever.

Some minor nutrition-related conditions have limited my exercise options pretty drastically for the time being, but they've also encouraged me to play around and find quirky alternatives - like dancing along to old episodes of So You Think You Can Dance (the Bollywood dance is particularly fun), and running errands one at a time (not efficient, but it increases my walking time exponentially).
